We reviewed founding dates for firms in the MultifamilyOffices.com directory. The largest group was founded in the 2010s, with 614 firms. The 2000s followed with 470. Together, those two decades account for most of the dated firms shown here. The 1990s contributed 149 firms, while 113 firms were founded in the 2020s. Earlier decades show a smaller but established base. The 1980s include 77 firms, and the 1970s include 27. The 1960s include 15. The 1950s, 1940s, 1930s, and 1920s each include 5 or fewer firms. The 1910s include 6 firms, and 11 firms were founded before 1910. This view helps us see when firms entered the market. It also separates long-established offices from newer firms formed during the 2000s and 2010s. Counts reflect firms with a recorded founding decade in the directory.
